Meet your Postural Therapist

Meet Courtney — Your Postural Therapist

If you’ve tried massage, physical therapy, or chiropractic care and still struggle with chronic pain, you’re not alone. I’ve been there too. My own pain journey is what led me to discover Postural Therapy — and it changed everything. Now, I help others find the same freedom and relief.

My Journey to Postural Therapy

Early in my career in San Francisco, I dealt with chronic back and shoulder pain. Despite trying many different treatments, nothing provided lasting relief. That experience fueled my passion for understanding the body on a deeper level.

When I discovered the Egoscue Method, the world leader in non-medical pain relief, I learned to look at the body holistically rather than just chasing symptoms. It worked — I finally found relief — and I knew I had to share this with others.

In 2004, I became a certified Postural Alignment Therapist through the Egoscue Institute.

My Professional Path

  • 25+ years working in Fitness and Postural Therapy

  • 2004: Certified in Postural Alignment Therapy

  • 2008: Founded Functional Fitness, LLC, a personal training and postural therapy studio in Meredith, NH

  • Certified in Menopause 2.0 with Dr. Stacy Sims, expanding my expertise to support women navigating perimenopause and menopause with science-backed strength and recovery strategies

  • Today: Based in Plymouth, NH, offering both in-person and virtual sessions worldwide. Worked with over 1,000 clients.

Over the years, I’ve worked with athletes, active adults, teens, older adults, and individuals recovering from injury or chronic pain. My approach adapts to the person in front of me — not the other way around.

My Philosophy

I believe that good posture and pain-free movement are the foundation for a healthy, active life — no matter your age, sport, or stage of life.

Whether you’re a competitive athlete looking to improve performance, a parent managing daily aches, a growing teen navigating rapid changes, or a woman experiencing midlife hormonal shifts, alignment matters.

My additional training in Menopause 2.0 allows me to support women through that specific life phase — but my core focus remains the same for every client: restore balance, build strength, and create lasting resilience.

Postural Therapy gives you the tools to take control of your health and move with confidence again.
